A longtime Philadelphian, I began my career as a producer and engineer at WXPN, eventually producing the NPR Music program The World Café. I founded Girls Rock Philly, an organization that created liberatory pathways through music creation, and was a Co-Director at The Vera Project in Seattle, the largest all-ages music and art space in the United States, before taking on leadership at CultureWorks Greater Philadelphia. These days, I work with individuals as a therapist licensed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware, specializing in creatives, artists, journalists, and people whose lives look different than the standards originally set out for us. I have worked as a board member, student, and front-line staffer - not always in the expected order. Each role has yielded important perspective and a strong awareness that our current socioeconomic and political systems have a long way to go in properly valuing a full range of relationships, labor, and experiences. I received my B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, my M.S.W. from Temple University, and my Gestalt certification from the Gestalt Training Institute of Philadelphia. Most recently, I completed a fellowship with the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia.
