A longtime Philadelphian, Beth began her career as a producer and engineer at WXPN, producing the NPR music program The World Café. She founded Girls Rock Philly, an organization that creates liberatory pathways through music creation, and was Co-Director at The Vera Project in Seattle, the largest all-ages music and art space in the United States, before taking on leadership at CultureWorks Greater Philadelphia. She has worked as a board member, student, and front-line staffer - not always in the expected order. Each role has yielded important perspective and a strong awareness that our current socioeconomic and political systems have a long way to go in properly valuing a full range of relationships, labor, and experiences. Beth received her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, her M.S.W. from Temple University, and her Gestalt certification from the Gestalt Training Institute of Philadelphia.
